It has been a while since Cars and Coffee Melbourne launched at their facility in Truganina, and it is safe to say that now they have got a strong following. Coffee and Cars? What an awesome concept! We are actually surprised that this has not taken off earlier. Needless to say, the August Cars and Coffee event was probably their biggest yet!

This month was not as cold as previous months which could explain the higher attendance. Cars from all makes, models and styles were involved which gave a great representation of what the Melbourne Car Community is all about.

We loved this.

Dog needed a walk? Sure why not. It appeared this dog was smaller than 10cm. I guess now we understand why there is a 10cm rule for height.

Always a crowd favourite.

Everyone was reasonably calm and settled until this Purvis Eureka rolled in. We must admit, we were not exactly sure what it was and it was surprising that we had not seen it before.

But then, the crowd that the Purvis Eureka pulled was quickly shadowed by the sound of at least a minimum of 60 bikes rolling in.

This Cars and Coffee event was somewhat special. This time, all money raised at this event was donated to a young girl who is battling a brain tumor. So, they needed a little show to keep the crowd entertained.

As the August Cars and Coffee was done and dusted, we look forward to attending more of these events. Chatting to Darrin (the man behind these meets), there are a few collaborations and events coming up that we are truly excited for.

I'm a Nurse during working hours, but a car fanatic every other time of the day. I also love all aspects of the Melbourne Hiphop Culture, music, food, sneakers, exercise and summer days.
